Music Maze is an exciting series of fun, creative, participatory workshops for children age 8 – 11 inclusive. There will be eight workshops from September 2013 to June 2014. Most of the workshops take place at the CBSO Centre and are led by BCMG Director of Learning and Participation Nancy Evans, composer Liz Johnson and BCMG musicians. Most workshops are linked to performances by BCMG.
Hosted by Town Hall Symphony Hall, October’s Family Music Maze is part of a nationwide Family Arts Festival. Young people are encouraged to bring an adult family member or carer to take part alongside them. In the workshop we will create our own music through different games and activities. Meet and register in the Symphony Hall Café Bar at 9.45am. All music created will be shared in a performance in the Symphony Hall Café Bar.
Young people and adults do not need to play a musical instrument to take part.
Places are free but must be booked in advance using the Ticket Info tab.
