Discover Debussy’s music, and how it influenced the generations that followed, from Pierre Boulez, Tristan Murail and Julian Anderson to those only just emerging today.
BCMG Artistic Director Stephan Meier will be joined by pianist Richard Uttley, writer Paul Griffiths and composer Julian Anderson for a journey through musical examples that will illuminate the man who Boulez called a ‘father of modernity’, through the works of contemporary composers such as Tristan Murail, Julian Anderson and Sinta Wullur.
